After a number of reunions for pets in France and Spain, Animalcouriers started rounding up passengers heading to the UK.

Young Chow Chow Lenny was delighted to be back with Jamie and his girlfriend in Sitges

We caught up with Neil, high up in the hills overlooking the Malaga area, who was very pleased to see Labrador Olly and cats Barney and Saffy again

Yappy
We collected little Yappy from Alhaurin al Grande. We had been slightly concerned about the likely volume of noise in our van, given his name! But Yappy turned out to be a quiet and well behaved chap.

Gata and Koshka
These two young cats from Gibraltar belong to Mary, who’s relocated back to London. We met up with Gata and Koshka at La Linea. They were due to travel with us on an earlier trip, but when we went to collect them, their passports weren’t quite ready for them to travel. No problems this time around!

Cecilia and Ross brought Mary’s cats to us

One of the cats is lively and nosy, the other has gone into hiding!
Dolly
Chesapeake Bay Dolly, who belongs to Ian, travelled with us earlier this year. We all fell for her this beautifully behaved girl. We collected her from our friends Heather and Alan at Barking Mad Kennels in Lagos for her journey back from the Algarve to the UK, to rejoin Steve.
Steve will be back in Portugal again next year, so we look forward to seeing Dolly when she’s next on her travels.

Darling Dolly
Nika, Eric and Ernie
These three beautiful cats travelled with us from Lagos, on their way to Hemel Hempstead. When the family were preparing to travel, they realised the cats’ rabies vaccinations had timed out. So they went on ahead with their dogs, and asked us to come by for the cats.

Eric and Ernie — we’re old enough to work out the inspiration for these two names!

Beautiful Siamese Nika
Lissy, Betty, Shuyla and Lulu
This family of pets belongs to Beverley and Sam, a pair of globetrotters who’ve been living in a beautiful town called Zahara, near Ronda, for about 10 years. Now there are grandchildren in the UK, so Sam and Beverley and their pets have moved to Yorkshire to be closer to them.

Sweet and friendly Lulu
Beau and Miya
After a few months in Javea, Beau and Miya’s family decided that life in Spain wasn’t for them, and headed back to Belfast. We’re sad it didn’t work out for them, but we were delighted to see this gorgeous pair of Boxers again!

Gorgeous Beau and Miya

These two don’t like to be apart, so they shared the biggest bedroom in our van
Daphne
Young Daphne was lucky enough to be rescued by a group working with cats in the Xativa area. Her luck continued when she was adopted by Victoria. Adorable Daphne travelled with us to join Victoria in London. We’re very sorry not to post a photo of the gorgeous little minx, but she was never still for a minute!
Russo
Handsome Maine Coon Russo is a frequent traveller with Animalcouriers. Following a summer holiday in the Girona area with owner Cynthia, they’re now returning to St Albans.

Very relaxed Russo with Cynthia
Tank
Tank should have been on a previous Animalcouriers trip, but went AWOL when we called in to collect him and his brother in the delightful French town of Céret. Fortunately he was recaptured, and kept in until we came by this time.

We’re quite sure Tank was plotting something…

We stopped in Narbonne for the night, and had an early appointment with Dr Viennet from VetDom, a vet clinic that makes home visits, to do the dogs’ parasite treatments and update their passports ready for entering the UK
Louis
In Carcassonne we collected King Charles Cavalier puppy Louis, who belongs to Ian and Louise. His final destination is Wales.

Ginge, Mum and Boris
Ginge and his Mum are from the Tarn. After owners Brian and Linda had booked their travel with us to the UK, they got back in touch to ask us to squeeze Boris in as well. Boris is a local cat they’ve been looking after, and they decided to offer him a home along with Ginge and Mum.

Here’s Mum, a gorgeous tortie
Wonderful close up photos.
Some super faces to show.
All photos are wonderful.
Thanks! Some great locations and passengers.
Lovely pic of our little Louis
How it the little fellow settling in?
A handsome group of travelers and some beautiful views along the way!
Hugs, Pam and Sam
Rather a perfect mix!
Love your guests and their exotics locals & destinations!
Thanks Skyler — we do get to see some great sights!
Oh look you got to have dolly again how sweet.
Yes! We made sure there wasn’t a down-filled bed this time 😀 She is such a sweetheart and a great passenger.
Beautiful post, I did share it at Twitter too, but it is not possible to like the post, there are no bottom loaded.
I just recommended you to a woman in Denmark, who asked for help for her animal.
Thanks for the share on Twitter – much appreciated. We’ve had a few issues with treacle-like response from the website. Have just retuned everything and we’re hopeful you won’t have such issues in future.
Thanks also for your recommendation! We have quite a few trips to Scandinavia planned so very much hope we can help.
Very beautiful passengers, and as usual, the countryside is spectacular. I like that wall of wine bottles!
Yes, I would say Tank is plotting something… 🙂
We were very pleased to place Tank into the arms of his family before he could attempt his cunning plan 😀
