Animalcouriers left the UK with a fine selection of beloved pets, who’re heading with us to various destinations in France and Spain.
Riley, Boo, Bandit and Cleo
This fabulous feline foursome are relocating with Kate and Antonin from Croydon to the Dordogne. There will be plenty of hunting and fishing opportunities for them at their new hamlet home!
Casper
Casper is a Cavachon — a Cavalier cross Bichon Frise. This sweet dog is relocating with his owners from Haverhill to Madrid. Casper home boarded with Animalcouriers for a few days, during which he made new friends, especially with Jack Russell Bella who’s also on board.
Phoebe
Phoebe is a gentle cat but with plenty of personality. This friendly girl, who boarded with us for a few days, is relocating from Lincolnshire to Torremolinos. She and her owner have been apart for a while. His comment when we told him Phoebe was on his way was: “Yippee!”
Humphrey and Spiney
You might not think it possible, but tortoise Humphrey and iguana Spiney are a right pair of characters — and energetic, too! They’ve been staying with Animalcouriers for a few days and have been more challenging than the cats and dogs put together!
We placed them in a room of their own, well away from all other animals, and with doors and windows firmly closed. First of all, we found Humphrey climbing and then falling off his log. Health and safety kicked in, and we removed the log, leaving him with a rather boring level surface to wander around.
Then we found Spiney had got out of his box and was sitting on top of it, seeming to have a laugh. We had a few words with him, then put him back in his box and closed it. Half an hour later we checked on him, only to find him sitting on the table — we swear he was giggling! Fortunately, we managed to find another box that even this Houdini of iguanas couldn’t escape from.
Beautiful faces and sunflowers at the top.
Of course I love the cats and dogs, but I do so adore the more unusual critters you get meet!
Us too, especially when they are such characters!
Lovely to see pictures of Deegan and Cooper hope they are behaving and not missing us too much.

Lovely animals all!
A lovely bunch! I wonder how Choppy and Schooner would enjoy a tortoise friend…
Best they’d have a jolly good go at introducing themselves 😉
What a fabulous bunch of travelers!
You just get all kinds, don’t you? Do you ever move fish?
We do love the variety. Yes, we have moved fish, some rather posh ones!
