While couriers J and M round up UK-bound passengers in Portugal and Spain, courier S set off in a more northerly direction, heading for Sweden.
On board were cats Muddle and Lilli, collected from a cattery in Stoke on Trent, where they stayed while their owners went on ahead to prepare for their arrival.
Care instructions and character descriptions accompanied these two beauties. The top tip was that both cats love having a fuss, so courier S has been dishing out plenty of cuddles.
After crossing the Channel, they stopped at Calais for the night, then had a clear day to travel through Germany.
After a night in Lübeck, it was time to catch the early morning Puttgarten ferry to Denmark. The roads were busy as it was the start of midsummer celebrations — which involve a national holiday in Denmark and Sweden, and seem to bring out all the camper vans, classic cars and Harley Davidsons.
Muddle and lillie are beautiful! Love the wallpaper. The spiral building twists nicely as you scroll by.
You’re absolutely right about the building twisting as you scroll – hadn’t noticed that before. Hope it stays still for the occupants 😉
Always love the names – Muddle is a brilliant name!
We have some very creative owners!
That apartment building is quite the thing. Hope they don’t have to wait too long for that garden in the countryside.
It’s rather remarkable and another blogger has pointed out that is twirls when you scroll past onscreen – hope it stays still for the people living in it!
What great photos.
Glad you enjoyed them.
Oh those eyes!
Mesmerising.
Poor beautiful Muddle having to live next door to the crazy twirling building…
Some view the cats have from that building. And that is a priceless and irresistible tin of peppermints!
