While our vans and couriers are busy on the roads around the UK and continental Europe, courier L and colleagues organise vet visits, paperwork and flights for pets travelling further afield.
Tiger
French Bulldog puppy Tiger was one of our first travellers in 2016. This handsome fellow homeboarded with couriers J and R while we prepared his paperwork. He then flew to Abu Dhabi with Etihad. Tiger’s owner, Ramzy, wrote to say:
“Thank you so much, you have made this process as easy as it could possibly have been. I’m really grateful about the attention to detail that you and the company are showing, and even keeping him at someone’s home rather than in a kennel is a big relief to me as I know how anxious he gets when not around people.”
Holly, Atlas and Nikki
The end of last year was busy with pets flying to join their families in time for the festive break. Among them were two puppies who flew to Bermuda.
Happy-go-lucky Terrier Holly homeboarded with Animalcouriers while her paperwork was finalised. She was a joy to have around — confident and playful, and taking everything in her stride. Her owners, the Palmer family, sent a fabulous festive photo, saying:
“We had a fantastic first Christmas in Bermuda with Holly this year. This was the first year we have not had visiting family or friends, but enjoyed our time together with the new addition to our family. We just wanted to send the attached photo of a visit to John Smith’s beach. Holly behaved very well, and was very friendly to everyone on the beach, and not too bothered by other larger dogs there! Thanks again for playing a part in helping Holly join our family.”
Atlas’s new owner knew nothing about his arrival — this beautiful black Miniature Schnauzer was a surprise Christmas present, organised by her owner’s partner. Atlas, who was bred by Ferncliffe Schnauzers, travelled down from Lancashire the day before his flight.
Ella and Nina
This well travelled pair of dogs started their lives in the Balkans; their latest move took them from the UK to Washington DC. Owner Rebecca flew on ahead to get everything ready for their arrival. Rebecca’s partner drove Ella and Nina from their Glasgow home to Manchester so the dogs could use United’s direct service to Washington.
Ella and Nina stayed overnight with our Manchester-based courier Mike, who took them to the airport the next day for their early-morning check-in. Rebecca told us:
“They made it safe and sound! I admit to have cried a bit when I saw them! Thank you so much for your help! I’d definitely recommend your services.”
Denver
We first met globetrotter Denver three years ago, when we arranged his flight from the UK to Hong Kong. Now, following a brief stay in Switzerland, Denver’s itchy paws have taken him to New York. Owner Nadine sent us some photos of Denver romping in the park, saying:
“…So anyway, hope we stay here for a while and won’t need to move him again soon, but if we do, we’ll definitely be in touch. It’s been such a relief to know you and your team are there for us any time and no matter how silly the questions, with patience and kindness.”
Phoebe
Inbound travellers included Phoebe, who travelled with SAA from Johannesburg to join her family. Her health documents and flight were organised by Venessa at Animals En Route, and Animalcouriers took care of the clearances when Phoebe landed at London Heathrow.
We hope Phoebe isn’t finding London too cold and rainy after leaving the summer in South Africa!
Love the updates! It is great to see everyone doing so well 🙂 You all do such a great job and are such an asset to those of us who love our furbabies!
So many jet setters!
Are you ever tempted not to give any pets back after boarding with you?! It must be hard saying bye bye for now to those you came attached to!
Ha ha – don’t got there! Have you heard about hoarders? Might just be a few rather irate owners 😀
All so completely adorable! Have a wonderful day.
Some gorgeous passengers. You too.
Wow a world tour all in one post. Wonderful organization and happy travelers.
And that’s just a selection of our air travel stories – they don’t half fly everywhere.
Everyone is so beautiful.
They all seem happy to have arrived too.
Fly, fly away! And keep up the good work.
And where are the frequent-flyer points? Guess most animals would prefer frequent-flyer treats…
Wow! The logistics for all these worldly travels has my head spinning. But looking at all the happy animals and owners has me grinning. WTG Animal Couriers!
Courier L is our air travel specialist and keeps everyone going in the right direction!
Lots of happy faces again, and purrfect pictures, Annie 🙂 Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend 🙂 <3
Thanks for the Pawkisses Little B – have a super weekend yourself 😀
It’s fun to learn about some of your travelers who are popping all around the globe in something other than the AC vans!! These are truly “seasoned” travelers and they all look just plain HAPPY to be reunited with their humans after the separations. So many smiling faces !
Pam and Sam
Yes, our air travellers don’t get so much exposure so it’s fun to show how far some of them travel. Others just keep on moving all over the world 😀
That black schnauzer puppy is darling. The photo itself with his new owner melts my heart.
