Just before we set off for a trip to the warmer climes of Spain and Portugal, here’s a round-up of what’s been happening lately on the road.
Bella, Arven and Rusty head back to Brittany
Bella, Arven and Rusty live in Brittany with Alan. When Alan recently visited family in the Wirral, his canine trio went too. For the return trip, however, Alan decided to take it a little easier, and asked us to transport his dogs for him. We’re looking forward to meeting them all again later in the year when another trip to the Wirral is on the cards.
Herbie and Ernie travel to Italy
Kelda and her husband have swapped south London life for a more rural one in Italy. They’re bought a lovely house up a dirt track in the countryside near Ancona, where they’ll continue to work from home. Cats Herbie and Ernie travelled with Animalcouriers to join. Such a good-natured, docile pair, they took to travelling like pros!

Kelda shared this photo of two very settled cats, saying “Once again, many thanks for the fantastic personal service and for getting the most precious cargo safely to us. This is a photo of them just a couple of hours after we’d picked them up.”
Cleopatra returns to London
On the way back from Ancona, we stopped in to collect Pugalier Cleo. (A Pugalier is hybrid of a Pug and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.) Cleo travelled with us to spend her Christmas holidays in Milan, and has now been prised away from her Italian relatives to rejoin her owner Shanti in London.
Hooper reaches Scotland
Young cat Hooper recently travelled to the UK with us from Greece, having been adopted by Suzanne in Scotland. We drove up to Scotch Corner where Suzanne met us, and was delighted to receive her handsome Greek fellow. Suzanne’s older cat, for whom Hooper was to be a companion, sadly died while we were transporting Hooper, leaving Suzanne quite bereft. But judging from Hooper’s joy at his palatial playground, we think he’ll soon bring a smile back to her face.
Hooper has quite a tree house!!
We fear there might be a little bit of cat tree envy going on 😉
Oh maybe I will meet Bella Rusty and Arven once on a walk :o) Cleopatra is a cutie… this cute nose screams for a kiss :o)
Keep your eyes peeled Easy, they could be around the next corner. It is a very cute nose 🙂
It looks like Hooper is really happy and spoiled.
He’s such a live wire, he deserves all of it.
Lucky Hooper! It looks like he’ll be spoilt rotten as he deserves
Very much so!
It looks like Hooper will fill the empty space left by the passing of their older cat, and he looks JUST the kitty to do it!
He’s more than capable of filling an empty space – such a gorgeous little fellow!
Looking at the way many of your animals are always traveling back and forth, I think they are more international travelers than 99% of humanity. Also, Hooper’s play pen is indeed impressive. He is one lucky cat! –Curt
We have more and more pets going on holiday with their families. It’s lovely to see. Not sure Hooper will ever grow into all his wonderful structures but he sure is enjoying them.
Sorry about Hooper’s older companion passing away, but glad to hear he is settled in and enjoying his new home. Hooper is a beautiful little kitty.
It was distressing for Suzanne but we’re aure Hooper is helping to ease the pain.
Wee toe-tally luv all thee fotoss of thee doggies who travelled all over!! Wee happy they are safelee home!
An Hooper iss so teeny an cute….wee hopess Lady Suzanne’ss heart will bee healed with her new furkit!!!
***nose kissesss*** Siddhartha Henry xxx an {{hugs}} LadyMum
We’re quite sure that Hooper will do his best to heal all hearts.
IT’s so nice to have repeat customers so you can see the lovely animals again and know the people trust you so.
We’re always delighted when we see the same passengers again – they fall back into the routine straight away.
Hooper really scored a feline paradise! Way to go Hooper!
No flies on that little fellow!
What GREAT updates! Never a dull moment with Animal Couriers………that little Hooper is so cute – very sad his “planned companion” passed away but maybe Hooper will inspire his new Mom to get him another companion soon to play with.
Hugs, Sammy
Hey, dull moments are few and far between on the road! We suspect it won’t be long before that companion comes along 😉
What a great home for Hooper. Of course Scotland is always the best place to be.
Little doubt that Hooper would agree with you.
Love the photos and they look so great on your website’s new design.
Thank you so much Jovina.
