On our way back to the UK from Greece, we stopped in northern Italy where it was snowing. The dogs absolutely loved it! They ran around in it like small children, weaving their noses through the it as though in search of elves and fairies, and leaping in delight. Given the snow that was blanketing much of the UK when we got back, it was a good opportunity for the dogs to acclimatise!
Happy reunions
As soon as we were back in Blighty, the reunions began. Calle’s owner Angus wrote to say:
“Thank you all for your part in delivering Calle safe and well. A big welcome and courier V was a perfect example of your living, thoughtful service! It is really so reassuring to meet people who really care about what they are doing. I am sure Calle loved her journey with couriers J and M and her new canine friends! Will strongly recommend you to anybody with similar needs.”
Panos, owner of ball-mad Rottie Djibril, sent us a photo of Djibril all settled at home and said:

There was a hearty welcome for Blacky from her family at their new home in Lincolnshire. Blacky had been a little nervous during the journey, and was gradually warming to courier M. Once back with her family, she showed her very happy side! Ellie wrote to say: “Thank you for the excellent service. My lovely dog is fine, clean and happy!”
What fun snow. Not enough to hamper your travels which was a good thing.
Yes, it was a great way to get the dogs acclimatised to snow without the usual headaches it can bring on the road. They did love it!
Love receiving these blogs! Had a fantastic service done for us from Wolverhampton to Malaga (Alhaurin) in August last year with our little gang of 3 cats – Lulu, Fifi & Dave. Unbelievable service. Have recommended Animal Couriers to loads of people. Xxx
How lovely to hear from you! Do let us know how you and the cats are settling in. Bet you’re all loving it! Thanks for the very kind words.

Wonderful photos….just enough snow for the pups to have a bit of fun but not too much to keep them from getting home!
Hugs, Sammy
How absolutely right you are Sammy!
Wow what fun they all had before reuniting with their families great job guys!xx Speedy
Always lovely to see them kicking their heels on a walk!
It looks like the dogs had a wonderful mad half hour in the snow.
Thanks so much for the prize which I received yesterday. I shall enjoy looking at the pictures each month and thinking of my friends at Animal Couriers.
Hugs
David
Hi David, delighted to hear the calendar arrived. Lovely to think of you enjoying it through the year.
oh the joy in all eyes :o) it’s great that you can offer snow-tours now too, I bet a lot of pups would like it :o)
Yup, this was universally approved stuff! If we could promise just this amount of snow, we’d jump at the chance of snow tours…
So much fun in the snow 🙂 And happy furry critters reunited with their families 🙂
The snow was a big hit all round — especially with us as there was so little and we weren’t help up 😉
Snow in Europe and wind and cold here in Texas! Must be winter! As always seeing your furry charges so happy made me smile. Have a lovely weekend!
Imagine you missed the worst of the snow this weekend? Looked incredible!
We didn’t get any snow here in the South but yea, the East coast got literally snowed in!
It’s lovely to see so many happy pets. Our lovely Honey is quite at home in the UK – our little Sicilian Warrier. We can’t image life before or without her. I have done nothing but recommend and praise your services, and to see them all so happy gives me a big buzz. We can never thank you enough.
Snow fun how great! The carrot picture is great!
Funny how they learn so quickly!
No snow here! Of course I’m not at home, ha. I’m on Maui time and happy to see all your lovely guests enjoying the snow. Another couple of days and I shall be back to winter boots myself. Till then, Aloha Animal Couriers xo Boomdee
Aloha indeed Boomdee! The photos on your blog look idyllic, glad you’re having such a lovely snow-free time.
We can imagine how the doggies had their moment of excitement…like my crazy hour..MOL 😀 It is good to the all the smiles and we’re not only talking about the families 😀 Pawkisses for a Safe and sound trip ahead 🙂 <3
Yes, some of them do look to be having a crazy hour time!
I wonder what it is about snow that makes dogs so joyful. (Cats not so much.) It often seems like pure joy. BTW, thanks for the wonderful calendar. I’ll put it up where I can enjoy it daily. –Curt
Some cats do approach it with ‘interest’ but they’re not so hot on discomfort 😉 Most dogs seem to be able to endure it for hours. Glad the calendar reached you, delighted to hear you’ll have it close by.
LOVED the snow pictures, but had a quick question: Do you think Ellen would mind terribly if I kidnapped Jerry??? 🙂 Reminds me so much of my Annie and Ollie!!
Safe travels, my friends!!
Luckily Eleni has rushed off with Jerry in her arms already 😀 Know what you mean though.
Look at that lovely snow!!!
Perhaps you can persuade Mummy & Daddy to go on a day trip to some snow?!
