Lovely young tortoiseshell cats Hearty and Lola hail from the Balearic Islands. They were brought by ferry to Denia and collected by our friends from Casa Antigua kennels and cattery in Jesus Pobre. Now they’re on board with Animalcouriers, on their way to the UK. They’re a playful pair, amusing themselves by leaping around their compartment and being general hooligans!
Our final stop in Spain was to collect gorgeous Maine Coon cat Russo from Cynthia. Russo regularly commutes between Hertfordshire and the beautiful seaside town of Tamariu, near Girona. He usually travels with Cynthia and Larry by car but, as Larry is unwell, Animalcouriers has the honour of chauffeuring Russo this time.
Once across the border into France, our final passengers joined us in Sigoules, a beautiful rural spot in the Bergerac area. Labrador Kaly enjoys walking, eating and chatting, while her feline companions Moggy and TomTom are making the most of their elevated position in our van. It lets them keep an eye on everything while maintaining a certain catlike aloofness.
Happy reunions 🙂 Safe journeys with the rest of the passengers!
Thanks — all tucked up with their owners now!
Oh what HAPPY FACES……..there’s nothing as heartwarming as a reunion. Maybe a HUGE bacon sandwich is close to it though! (haha)
Love, Sammy and Mom Pam
Yes, thought you might say that 😀
I would like to cuddle with Russo, I love this fabulous fluffy fur!
Russo is a great big bundle of gorgeous fluff!
I had a Maine Coon for 14 years named KitKat and he topped out at 22 lbs. Looks like Russo would have given him a run for his money! Best phat-cats ever! 🙂
That is a very big boy! Yup, KitKat and Russo would have been quite the pair.
The HAIR brothers? 😉
Lots of tasty treats on this trip.
Yes, some rather bigger than strictly necessary 😉
What a gorgeous group! Love the “mirrored” girls! Lovely reunion! Happy travels all!
The mirrored girls were such fun to travel with!
Love seeing all the happy faces as usual.
Quite the relaxed group.
Let’s see, Pixtura gets a doggy biscuit for a walk and AC gets a three-foot bacon roll. Hmmm. 🙂 –Curt
The bacon sandwich was at least three times bigger than Pixie — everything has to be relative 😉
🙂
Kaly appears to have the same attitude as Choppy – there is always another treat somewhere!
Yup, some dogs are treat seeking missiles 😉
I am very, very aware of this trait in a certain dog I know!
You guys are the kings and queens of Happily Ever After!
We do mostly tell happy tales 😉
Russo has some pinchable cheeks for a cat!
You could bury your head in that lovely tum!
And maybe lose an eye, but it might be worth it!
Ah no, Russo is a great big softie 😉
Precious images. Have a happy day.
Thank you.
Some big smiles there.
And you couldn’t see the faces of those about to devour those bacon rolls 😉
Thank you! Glad you enjoy it.
It warms my heart. ~bridgette
I think I’ll turn myself into a cat or dog and go traveling with Animal Couriers 🙂
Welcome aboard – whatever form you choose!
