Handsome ginger tabby Milo is on the final leg of his journey from Malta, where he was rescued from dockside life by Trevor. He’ll shortly be arriving at his wonderful new home with Trevor and Ann in Donegal.
Staffie Randolph is also on board — he’s swapping Islington for Cork. This friendly, affectionate chap homeboarded with us before the journey started. He’s not keen on being confined in any way — he would suddenly appear in an open doorway, looking for someone to play with!
Standard Poodle Louis makes up the passenger list to Ireland. This very good-looking fellow flew from Marbella in Spain to London Gatwick. He homeboarded with us briefly and is now heading to Cork to rejoin Lorna.
Meanwhile, courier S delivered Suzanne’s gorgeous cats Fifi and Bella to Chevington Moor cattery in Morpeth, Northampton. They’ll board here for a couple of days until Suzanne catches up with them, having left France a few days after they did. The two cats quickly set about exploring their new bedrooms, before settling down to a freshly prepared tasty lunch.
And finally, ferret John Dorian, who travelled with us from Portugal, was reunited with his owner Marta in Leicester. He was the perfect passenger, enjoyed all his meals and slept very snugly in his hammock bed. Marta told us he’s always wonderfully calm — when he was having injections at the vet, he even gave the vet a kiss! She also explained that in Portugal, it’s very rare to have a pet ferret, so when she walked him on his lead, people always stopped to ask questions.
Happy that this bunch of Holiday Travelers will be “home” for the holidays!!!
Hugs, Sammy and Pam

You must put a trip to Ireland on your wish list 🙂
Milo arrived home and is settling in really well, he has already made friends with Sebastian our rescue kitty from Paros.

“The camera loves Fifi!” Great shot, AC. –Curt
Awww, what cuties! 🙂 xx
I really like the header again. The winner of this post is Fifi. Such a handsome looking cat. I love the tuxedos with the black marking on the mouth or nose.. I think it makes them even more handsome and appealing.
Got a few rock stars there; do there ever have any weird requests like just green M&Ms?
OMG – these pictures are really FABULOUS!! Honestly, each one is so cool I can’t pick a favorite passenger today – and of course, I love the reunion stories the best! Thanks so much for posting and have a great weekend!!
Randolph has a lovely face!
