While couriers J and M head towards France with pets on board from Spain and Portugal, courier S has been busy with Animalcouriers passengers in the UK.
Darling Dachshund Meadow and her family are flying from the UK to Zimbabwe. Meadow is travelling on the same plane as them to Johannesburg, then it’s a few more hours in the car to reach their home. Meadow took check-in in her stride, and all the airline staff were very taken with this charming dog.
Best mates Annie, a Mastiff cross Labrador, and Zac, a German Shepherd Dog, are having a little holiday in the country while their owner recovers from an operation. They’re staying at a friend’s boarding kennels where we suspect plenty of TLC will be on offer. Rescue dog Annie is a gentle giant and a bit timid with it — fortunately big strong Zac is there to look after her. Zac was training to be a police dog but turned out to be a bit too much of a softie. Now he enjoys family life, and spends a lot of time with autistic children who love climbing all over him and cuddling him — which he absolutely adores.
Three amazing Sphinx cats, Chian Chian, Nelson and Baober, travelled from Wales to London, for their flight from Heathrow airport to Taiwan. Calm and relaxed, they caused quite a stir at check-in where everyone wanted to meet this trio of special passengers.
All so precious.
I’m glad Zac found his calling in life, still helping others, although not in the way his humans originally intended. Animals are wonderful therapy, and I suspect the feeling between the species is mutual.
I love the little Dachshund. What could be cuter!? (answer: nothing.)
I read this one and then remembered that I was not feeling up to snuff and did not comment, so this is late. The cats going to Taiwan are so cute. i hope the kitty does not lose its other eye. I love the story of Zac who flunked police schooling and is now a therapy dog. Annie, his best mate is such a pretty dog. As a Mastiff X Labrador she must be a huge dog.
Have a very soft spot for big dogs so love Annie & Zac. We also have a sphinx cat living next door as an indoor cat and I think she would be far too superior to mix with our rowdy brood
