Young Husky cross Kai homeboarded with Animalcouriers while waiting for his flight to Spain. He was a model house guest — intelligent and handsome, equally fond of people and food, and always ready for a game or a joke.

Flying in more-or-less the opposite direction was Barley, a cat rescued on Portugal’s Algarve by Joyce. Animalcouriers arranged Barley’s flight from Faro to Manchester with Monarch, and he’s now living in Shropshire with Joyce’s son Shaun. Joyce tells us:

“Barley is such a loving cat and has settled in perfectly. We visit him often and he snuggles up. We were concerned about their dog but they rubbed noses straight away and get on really well. Our thanks to all of you for all of the help in bringing Barley back to the UK. It all went smoothly and hassle free.”
