Animalcouriers is heading back from Scandinavia with pets on board who are bound for the UK.
Our first stop was to collect very dear Muffy, a very cuddly, placid and laid-back cat. He’s leaving his country home near Norrkoping in Sweden and heading to Essex, to rejoin his owner Winifred who’s returning to her childhood home.
Then we headed to Skvode to collect elegant long-haired cats Bjorn and MInx. These two are travelling with us to join their owner in East Sussex, who went on ahead to make sure everything was ready for their arrival. They’ve been beautifully looked after by friends and family in the meantime.
In Gothenburg we met up with French Bulldog Poa and Jack Russell Avi. This smashing pair of buddies looked extremely stylish in their new travel bandannas. They’re off to Manchester to rejoin their owners in their new English home.
Completing the canine contingent so far is Petit Cassons Omega, a young Coton de Tulear — a breed that’s not too well known in the UK. This little bundle of joy has an incredibly soft coat that doesn’t shed. He’s off to start a new life in Derbyshire where we’re sure he’ll capture everyone’s heart. Cotons are rumoured to have a pirate connection — the Coton originates from the island of Madagascar, where it’s the national dog. It’s thought that its ancestors may have brought to Madagascar in the 16th and 17th centuries aboard pirate ships!
Oh MY Cats! What cuties! 🙂 They are all so beautiful! And Fluffy really does have an amazing coat! What a little sweetheart! 🙂 Happy Sunday, sweeties! xx Roxy & Tigerlino <3
And the coat is so soft. Thanks R&T!
Petit Cassons Omega doesn’t look in the least piratical! What a gorgeous animal, I had never heard of this breed before. Your first photo of Darling Muffy reminds me of my late cat Moofy who was as pretty as that and the same colouring, but not at all sweet tempered 🙂
He doesn’t, does he?! Now Moofy sounds like a name that would be given to a big softie 😉
Poor Moofy had issues. She began life as an abandoned feral and was two hours from being euthanised when I showed up. I was the only being in the world she liked and the other three cats all hated her too! She was a girl for whom nothing was ever quite good enough yet still I wept buckets when she finally died fifteen years after she came so abruptly into my life. I dine out on my Moofy stories 🙂
Gorgeous! I LOVE Coton’s but never actually seen one… which is probably a good thing as I’d just want to squish him/her!
Hugs, Carrie & Pups x
Yes, probably best not to go anywhere near a Coton 😀
I’m sure Poa will get an Oscar for that tongue 😀 We have to smile of all of the cargo 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂
He’s got an honorary one from us 😛
Muffy even made me smile which is a triumph for a cat.
An accolade indeed.
Love that sweet, beautiful face that on Muffy kitty. She looks like a gentle girl.
Bjorn looks old and wise.
What a sweet face on that Minx.
Avi and Poa are such cute characters.
And Omega looks like a fluffy sweetie.
Have a wonderful rest of the week end.
Each and every one a super passenger.
Travelling north for a change. Gee that bridge looks huge. The cats are adorable and the dogs are so cute. But you obtained extra special photos of the Coton’s coat. That pic could not be a better one.
Courier S was rather disappointed by the bridge at night – she expected it to be all wonderfully lit up but guesses the Scandinavians are too eco-friendly to waste all that electricity. We’re really pleased to have been able to show how how special that coat is.
Another amazing bunch! Avi and Poa are quite the pair.
They are a stylish duo!
I saw Omega and I said, wow. That is indeed one fluffy dog. I have to get back to Poa, though. I may just have to vote for him as winner of the tongue contest, whether he has the longest tongue or not. The face alone should add an extra 20 points out of a hundred. –Curt
You’re right, Poa has the whole tongue/face thing to a star turn!
Oh my goodness! Everyone’s so cute and fluffy! 🙂
They are rather a gorgeous bunch and some especially fluffy!
What gorgeous kitties and Fluffy has the best coat ever!!
xxxx
Wonder if even you guys would like to snuggle into that fur?!
Muffy looks like she has really unusual colouring
Might just be the flash photography but the ginger round the face does stand out.
Oh how adorable they all are! Of course, we are partial to fluffy white pups…. 😉
Ha ha ha, no idea why that would be 😉
What a great group of “littles” this trip! I love Cotons! They are wonderful little dogs with fantastic personalities!
They certainly have fantastic personalities in lovely small packages!
So very lovely photos!! 🙂
Aren’t they a happy bunch!
Muffy made me smile, but they’re all lovely!
Muffy made everyone smile!
Thank you Sarah for bringing Poa and Avi from Gothenburg to Manchester! They came to their new home safe and happy! Thank you also for taking them to your own home overnight!
Poa and Avi will absolutely travel with you guys again, should the need occur!
They are now happily running around in their new garden and enjoying the huge nearby park!
Thanks Cecilia – always great to hear that our passengers settle well after the journey. Hope you’re all enjoying your new home.
Bet that coat takes some grooming but I bet he’s worth it
It is certainly worth all the work.
All lovely as always. Bjorn is looking very serious indeed, LOL Omega reminds me of those fluffy caterpillars you see crawling along that later become beautiful butterflies. I think that’s just the most perfect pic of Avi in the leaves. I bet his mum and dad would frame that!
