Animalcouriers drove to Cornwall to collect tabby cats Tips and Emmi, and Labrador/Great Dane cross Bear. We met up with Tips and Emmi near beautiful Redruth, where they have been staying at the Sun Valley cattery, a lovely place that lives up to its name. Once their paperwork and vet visits are complete, they’ll be flying off to join their owners in Singapore.
Bear has been staying with family friends near Tiintagel while waiting to join his owners in Paris. Bear stayed overnight with Animalcouriers and continued his journey to Paris by road the next day.
Beautiful fox red Labrador pup Callie had an early morning check-in at Manchester airport for her Monarch flight to Faro in Portugal. Very quickly after her arrival on the Algarve, she settled in with the family’s other dogs, Tara and Amber.
Soggy has swapped Paris for Perth, flying with Qantas from London Heathrow. He was living with his family just outside Paris until July, but they had to be in Australia before Soggy’s entry paperwork was complete. So his owner found him a foster family in her native Scotland who completely fell for his Golden Retriever charm. Animalcouriers took him to the airport and he’s now spending 10 days in quarantine kennels at Eastern Creek in Sydney, before being reunited with his family.
Handsome young Huxley flew into Gatwick airport from Ibiza. By lunchtime he’d cleared customs and was ready to continue his journey with Animalcouriers to be reunited with his owner in east London.
Meanwhile, we heard from Liz that her cat Phoebe, who travelled with us from France to the UK before flying with Emirates to Melbourne, is doing well:
“My son and I picked Phoebe up from Spotswood Kennels. She did not know me at first, but I sat in the back of the car with her and slowly it dawned on her who I was; inasmuch as fondling my fingers through the cat basket and purring loudly and continually during the journey home of an hour plus. Since being home she has explored everywhere, even jumped on the edge of the bath to look inside. I am really impressed with Animalcouriers and wish I’d found you earlier. Caring and efficient are the first words that come to mind. I will always recommend you and a huge ‘thank you’ for being there in my hour of need. Spotswood Quarantine are delightful too.”
All adorable 🙂 and clearly well loved 🙂 safe travels all 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx

A Good good morning from Canada Animal Couriers. You’re probably wrapping up your day already but I’m just going to have my morning coffee. I love reading your posts in the morning and seeing all the faces of your cute little guests. It always seems like everyone gets on so brilliantly. Kitties and visiting pups all mingling in one happy photo. Don’t know how you manage these things, LOL. I always love how puppies sit on their bums,,,Callie’s so darn cute. xoB
These stories do go down well with your morning coffee! We call that the ‘lazy sit’ and you’re right, puppies do it more than most.

A new world to me. I didn’t know there were so many travelling animals. Makes me feel like a homebody. I hardly ever get further than my trails.
Bongo – it’s good to be a homebody. You can travel vicariously with our passengers!
Callie has the sort of face that makes bipeds start looking for the treats to give out.
