Happy reunions for Banksy, Nina, Jura and Thrall

Cats Banksy and Nina and pups Jura and Thrall recently travelled with Animalcouriers from mainland Europe to the UK. Their owners have all been in touch to update us on how their pets are settling in to their new homes.

Cute young Banksy started his trip in Portugal. He was found by Tanis on a bank — hence the name — and has now joined her in the UK. Tanis is the owner of Sussex Life magazine and will be doing a feature on his journey. Perhaps Banksy will become her editorial assistant when he’s a little older?

Super fluffy black-and-white cat Nina travelled with us from Italy and has been reunited with Sandro in London. Sandro wrote with some photos of Nina, saying:

“Just a few words to thank you and your team for taking so much care of Nina during her trip to London. Nina arrived in a very good shape, she spent the entire next day sleeping on my bed. Now she has started her normal life and routine in our new place (like stalking people from the window). In case of future needs I know who to call.”

Meanwhile, lively young dogs Jura and Thrall from Barcelona in Spain are settling in to their new home in Edinburgh. Yolanda sent some photos and told us:

“The little ones seem so happy!! Thank you for everything!!”

I love the update! My two cats are terrified of EveryThing. One has Inflammatory Bowel Disease, making all that fear have worse effect… I’d probably decline the world’s greatest job if it meant having to “transport” them by any method but my car, because they react so strongly to their fear.
So i loved seeing how happy this bunch is. Thanks for the update. 🙂

Ah, can imagine that fear and inflammatory bowel disease don’t go well. Most pets travel well by road – there’s a period when they get used to the routine and they then settle in and know when to demand things 😉 This lot were perfect travellers and hit the ground running!

I like this blog because I love animals and this blog tells real story with great photos without being drippingly cute and condescending. Well done!

Why thank you – we do try to keep things light hearted but there are often serious issues behind stories.

Burning Man? If so, can understand why a day-long cat nap would be tempting 😉
