You may remember that late last year, two cats belonging to Fanny travelled with us from Lyon to Lisbon, on the last leg of their journey all the way from Canada. Fanny’s Portuguese home has lots of open space and wonderful view of the sea — perfect for any puss.
Now two more of Fanny’s cats have reached Europe — Noir and Miss — and are making the same journey with us from France to Portugal. We got Noir on board fairly easily, but with Miss it was quite another story…
A game of tag ensued, with Miss as ‘it’ and courier M darting back and forth. This round of three-dimensional chess eventually came to an end when Miss, perhaps tiring of the game despite the tactical advantage she had maintained throughout, left her rooftop refuge and dropped to the floor. As she made to clamber up the wire sides of the cat unit, courier M pounced.
I think Miss was perhaps tired of traveling and decided to avoid that carrier as long as possible! Sam WILL NOT get in a carrier – that’s why I had to resort to leash/harness!
Pam
Miss knew exactly what she was doing 😀 Do Sam’s extra toes help him ‘resist’ the carrier?
His SCREAMING helps him more than his toes! HAHA
OUCH, hurts the ears just thinking about it!
Thank you !
I look forward.
Fanny
Her name is not Noir but Moby 🙂
Great percentage of correct information from us then 😀
But TAG is such a fun game! Haha!
If you’re as agile as a cat, it certainly is!
Nothing spells success like Repeat Business – why wouldn’t anyone want to trust their friends and family to Animal Couriers?? I’m thinking if I ever go across the Pond again, I’ll apply to Animal Couriers to carry me around with them!! 🙂
He he – we have great air conditioning but you may find the accommodation somewhat cramped 😉 Red Man would have a more comfortable ride 😀
Great stories of Great Escapes by kitties!! 🙂
Oh, there has been many a cat who has given us the slip on the day we’ve been supposed to collect them 😀
Noir is a beauty and is a shorter haired version of my Ali.
Missy is also a beauty.
Wonderful about repeat business and we already know how wonderful you all are with your travelers.
Thank goodness Courier M is on top of things and caught the escapee.
Luckily it was only a matter of time before Miss joined the trip but she had a lot of fun testing courier M!
What stunning eyes Noir/Moby has. Great work from that courier.
Moby is a beauty, as is Miss. He’s a determined fellow!
maybe her name is Miss because you will miss to get her in her travel box?
Yes, she’s probably laughing her head of at that one 😀
Beautiful kitties!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Beautiful kitties indeed, even if Miss gave us the runaround 😀
Sounds like a brilliant game – I bet Courier M loved every second of it BOL
You got it in a oner Basil 😀
It’s evident that Miss does not let tpo be riding in a pet carrier. Poor thing. She was really trying ti escape. Good thing courier M was faster than a cat.:-)
Luckily for courier M, Miss did tire of the game. Can understand she’s had enough travelling but Fanny is waiting for her in Portugal and we’re sure Miss will appreciate it in the end 😉
I have cat box time too
Ah, the universal fun and games when the carrier comes out?
What a fab cattery that is. I had a girlfriend at our new house yesterday and while we were enjoying our visit, both Petals and Blossum squeezed under a retractable screen door. I had no idea they could and thank heavens they stayed on the porch. As strictly indoor cats, Petals, I think was freaked out and was actually under the porch. Someday, It would be nice to have a screen porch that they could go too like these kennels though. Way to be nibble Courier M 😉
Oh dear, it’s frightening when they show you how wrong you are about where they can and cannot go! Once you’re settled in properly, they no doubt would love you to enclose that porch for them 😉
Lucky courier M got to have a go at climbing and test his catlike reflexes!
Ah hem, Clowie – courier M was delighted to show off 😉
