Following a period living in the Scottish town of Aberdeen, it was time for handsome hound Kirkland to head home to Houston in Texas. There was no time to stay and enjoy the Scottish Open, but he did have to endure the traffic jams it created on his way to Glasgow Airport to catch his flight. Fortunately there was time for a final walk in the beautiful Scottish countryside before boarding the plane.
Meanwhile, couriers S and L were on the road to Italy with Sam, and delivered him to a warm welcome at La Pensione Di Casa Orlando in Leini, where he was due to spend the night as a VIP guest before being reunited with his owners in Pisa.
Tabby cat Ubasti from Croatia was booked to travel with Animalcouriers to the UK last month, on our way back from Greece, but the poor baby fell off a balcony and broke her leg. Now well on the way to recovery, she was ready to join us this time around, and we hooked up with her in the Italian town of Aviano. She’s heading for London to rejoin her owner who is studying there.
While in Aviano we called in at the Nato Air Base where big boy Cooper has been stationed with his US Air Force owners. They’re now returning to the US to start a new life as civilians in Ohio. Cooper will travel with us by road to the UK, and will then catch a flight to Ohio from Heathrow Airport.
Then it was on to Treviso to collect Russian Blue Rosaline and Ragdoll Nociolino. These two very beautiful and friendly cats are travelling with Animalcouriers to rejoin their owner in London.
You seem to be getting busier each month – or is that just my imagination? Either way – what a wonderful job you do!!
We do seem to be ramping up at the moment! Due some time off for good behaviour in August 😉
What cool photos!!!!
Hugs, Pam and Sam
Not sure all the cats enjoyed posing 😉
Kirkland, your ears are priceless! Get well soon Ubasti!
He he – they do seem to be pointing in many directions 😉 Ubasti’s leg is healing well – some enforced rest will do her good.
Ubasti get better soon and wow look at that hello wave!!! hugs and loves Fozziemumxx
It’s a new one for us!
Hahahahaha 🙂
This looks like the trip of the baffled kitties 🙂
It does. One minute they’re snoozing and they next they’re whisked off to pastures new 😉
Thanks for sharing all these photos and your travels. They are wonderful!
So glad you enjoy them.
I think a few are on nip…MOL… Pawkisses to effurryone, and one Extra Healing Pawkiss for Ubasti 🙂
That sure could be an alternative travel therapy 😀
They are all so lovely… 🙂 xx Roxy & Tigerlino <3
A lovely bunch and the passenger list grows!
Kirkland looks a bit apprehensive. Did you tell him he was about to fly? Nociolino looks like he’s trying out for a vampire movie.
No, we didn’t let on what was happening but he did know he was off on an adventure 😉 We’re trying to get a good photo of his face as he has a wonderful moustache – funnily enough, an even more magnificently moustachioed fellow has joined the trip now…
I loved reading about the dogs and cats that are literally going off in so many directions. A very busy time for you folks. Countyside is beautiful in the Italian mountains.
It is a busy time with lots of animals going in many directions. Quite beautiful scenery.
All pets look so good; they really enjoy meeting their family members, though definitely they might be a bit scared initially.
It can take a little while for some of them to settle but they’re usually comfy when they get into the routine of the day.
Beautiful pets!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Each and every one of them.
Seems they are all having a fun time travellling with you AC. Lovely pics. 😀
Never a dull moment on our bus!
I can see that! Makes me wish I can tour with you. I’ll come back as a travelling doggie or cat in my next life and then I’ll travel with you. LOL!
Since you mentioned mountains – meaning higher elevations. Are dogs just like humans? Do they have difficulty adjusting to higher altitudes? That question always bothered me…
You know, haven’t a clue but imagine you’d have to go very high indeed for a dog not to be comfortable.
Cooper looks like our Max. Love rotties, been rescuing them 28 years. Safe and happy travels to ya’ll. 🙂
You’ll know all about them – Max is a darling and taking the journey in his stride.
