Meetings and reunions for Shep, Holly, Pete, Kaluha and Feta

Pete and Kaluha, the two rescue dogs who travelled with us from Greece, are now with their new families. Meanwhile there were happy family reunions for little Feta, who also travelled with us from Greece; handsome Shep from France; and glossy black cat Holly from Surrey.

Julia and Neil, who’ve adopted Kaluha, have already been in touch to say:

“We have been home for the last hour and as you can see Kaluha us settling in well. We are having a nice time getting to know her. Thank you all so much for making her part of our lives.”

Arriving at the new family home, Shep was keen to explore the garden…

Very excited Julia and Neil arrived to collect equally excited Kaluha

From the number of toys at Kaluha's new home, we suspect the local pet store must be looking pretty empty!

Lot’s of fun seeing all the happy reunions. How great of the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust to donate a van for such an important task. It’s sad that there are animals left homeless and struggling on the streets to survive. Some would say, “there’s lot’s of homeless people too”. While I feel for them too, I always support those working for better animal welfare because in our City, the government doesn’t contribute to these organizations. They rely solely on donations.

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust does marvellous things. It’s hard to see animals or humans trying to survive on the streets 🙁

Judging from the number of toys that Kaluha has to chew on, I would suspect that the pet store is quite happy and has already restocked for Kaluha’s next visit. 🙂 –Curt

The rescue of those two dogs is the best to read to about. They indeed were adopted by some lovely people.
