Faith came to collect handsome black-and-white duo Jules and Jim from mutual friends in Narbonne, and take them back with her to their summer residence near Perpignan. She tell us:
“Jim complained à haute voix all the way back! After a clingy 12 hours they’re both dozing on the terrace and generally behaving as if they’ve never been away.”
Helen and Stuart let us know that cats Florence and Lucca are settling in well to their new home. These lucky cats have 12 acres of Tuscany countryside to enjoy!
“We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the safe delivery of Florence and Lucca to us. They have clearly been exceptionally well looked after while in your care, and they are now both happily exploring their new home. We are loving having them back in our lives.”
We also delivered little Dachsie Bella to Sheila in Nice, ready for the last leg of her journey to Monaco. It was charming to see that Bella could hardly contain her excitement at seeing Sheila again.
As couriers J and M continue their journey towards Greece, courier D hopped across the channel with Frank, Heathcliff and Leon.
Frank the hamster and African pygmy hedgehog Heathcliff belong to Harriet. As she’s off to university in the autumn, her precious pets are moving to the Dordogne to live with their grandparents. They homeboarded with courier J before setting off on their trip from the UK with courier D.
Ginger tabby Leon was also on board, heading to the Cognac region. This good-looking boy is very friendly and chatty, and super excited about being reunited with Charlene.
Florence has a wonderful fur:o) Is Heathcliff much smaller than common hedgehogs? Sorry your team lost the battle yesterday, I saw it together with my dad… mom is sad too, because she was waiting for special offers at sportsdirect in case they had won. I cross my paws for next tuesday :o)
Florence is a beauty and a very friendly girl. Sadly the option of saving themselves has been taken away so next Tuesday will no doubt see the team win big time 😉
What an interesting journey.
It has been and gets more interesting as we go along…
Beautiful photos, all of them, but that one of Heathcliff is so adorable! He looks a bit like one of those Tribbles from the original Star Trek series.
Yes, he does!
Oh, I have to touch some paws…cuteeee 🙂 They’re all so adorable 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂
A rather splendid group of passengers!
They are all so cute! 🙂 xx Roxy & Tigerlino <3
Aren’t they!
So many gorgeous animals on this trip! How wonderful that Harriet thought to rehome her pets with her grandparents. People here don’t often do that with hamsters and hedgehogs. They turn them over to shelters far too often.
Harriet (and her grandparents) did a great thing. You’re right about many people dumping their pets when circumstances change.
Those cats are so handsome and so lucky to have such wonderful humans and a loverly place to stay. The English supporter is too funny for words. Doleful expression. I don’t think he/she liked the attire or situation. 🙂
They are all very lucky animals indeed. The English supporter is no doubt asking for a change of clothes now 😉
Jim & Jules are looking very very relaxed, lol…
Love Florence & Lucca too…esp Lucca..he looks like velvet!
Glad Bella is doing so well.
Frank & heathcliff are adorable…bet they are some of the smallest pets you have transported 😉
Leon is stunning…my kind of tabby!
Poor lad; I feel for him 😉
Love Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue too <3 <3 <3
