Guiseppe and Arfa are reunited with their families in Spain

Yesterday Animalcouriers reunited little Daxie Guiseppe with Linda and Alejandro in Murcia. Everyone was pleased to be back together, with Linda in particular looking so much happier than when she had to part with Guiseppe a few days ago in England!

Meanwhile Matt and his mum were missing Staffie Arfa so much that they jumped in the car and came to collect him early!

Guiseppe with Alejandro and Linda, who spotted three tiny ticks on Guiseppe — must be from all those walks in the campo. We discussed getting Guiseppe one of those special collars from the vet that protects not just against ticks, but also against mosquitoes and sandflies (the latter's bites can cause the incurable disease Leishmaniasis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canine_leishmaniasis).

Arfa hopped straight into the front left footwell, as that's his place in an English car. Arfa, you'll have to move over now you're in Spain! (Longest tongue, anyone?)

Julia, many thanks for all Giuseppe pictures which made our days much happier and easier meanwhile we were waiting for him and we could follow the trip. We are very grateful for looking after Giuseppe so well. We were expecting from him to be happy to see us, however at the first few hours he was very upset on us, but now he is very happy son again!! Many thanks Linda, Alejandro and Giuseppe 🙂

Glad he’s got over his grump. Bet he’s delighted really. Hope all goes well for the three of you!

So wonderful to see happy reunions..so lucky we don’t get ticks in our area..and for some reason none of the guys here have ever had fleas…and have never had treatment to prevent them..no idea why..any ideas? and poor Arfa in the drivers seat hilarious!! hugs Fozziemum xx

You’re incredibly lucky not to get fleas or ticks on your babies! Disease-bearing ticks are a particular problem of the mediterranean.

They are up north but not here in the south so much..at least not in our area..they are nasty things and the only time I had fleas ever was when I had poor little fosters..

Yes, we’ve only ever had fleas in the house with our last rescue kitten 😉

Cats seem to love getting their noses up to the camera! The kitty looks relaxed and curious.

It took Shadow a little while to chill but she got there in the end.

I swear Guiseppe has the hugest smile I have ever seen on a pupper.
Aefa and matt look so happy to be back together.
    Have a wonderful week end.

It was hard to tell between Guiseppe and Arfa who had the largest smile.

Wonderful captions and great reunions. I do with folks could just get consistent about which side of the road to drive on. I can’t imagine switching. (getting too old for that sort of change!) 😮

Wouldn’t it be good if everyone drove on the same side! Don’t suppose it’ll ever happen until robots drive the cars for us 😉

Unfortunately people resist change, so I think you’re right that it’s not likely to happen. Perhaps the robots wouldn’t mind.

I do love seeing all those happy faces, although the sunshine does make me very jealous!

LOL, who looks more excited? Matt or Arfa? That’s the best photo! Little Shadow, my Blossum agree’s, tummy rubs rock.

We'd love to hear from you
