Eugenio is now on board, and we spent last night near Chamonix

Animalcouriers collected Eugenio near Parma in Italy. This must be a record-breaking trip for Setters and Setter crosses! Cathy adopted Eugenio from a pound in Rome and he’s been staying with Ilaria at her kennels while his passport and travel were organised. Ilaria says Eugenio was rather thin when he arrived but he’s now looking much better. Eugenio is travelling all the way to join Cathy on the Isle of Wight.

We spent last night near Chamonix in France, where the dogs enjoyed their first snowy walks and the cats stayed tucked up in the cosy van. (Sorry, it started getting a bit too dark to take photos of everyone.)

Today’s heavier snow makes it a bit of a slow drive but we’re aiming to get at least as far as Calais tonight.

I love the way Sienna has her tail wrapped around Bolo’s. So adorable 🙂

Thanks Easy, it has been slow progress today but we’re hopeful of being out of the worst of it soon…

It’s a huge collection this time! Couriers M & S were disappointed to meet so much snow on the roads but they’re gradually making it through.

ALL adorable, as usual. I honestly didn’t realize it snowed much there. We drove thru Calais when we got off the ferry from Dover and it seemed so beachy. No-Name kitty looks like a
cuttie-pie, I’m a little partial to here because I once had a orange and white kitty named Ginger. Drive Safe!

The west coast isn’t usually too bad but driving through the Alps in Italy/Switzerland and France can be rather iffy. We avoid those trips in the depth of winter. No-name Kitty is a goof ball and very entertaining 😀

We'd love to hear from you
