Meet Maow, Moonbeam and Harlequin from Italy

Animalcouriers collected beautiful grey Maow high in the hills above Ancona. A party of well-wishers was there to wave her off on her journey to rejoin her owner Ben in Sussex.

We also met up with gorgeous, wide-eyed tabby cats Harlequin and Moonbeam in Brindisi. Rescued by Ruth while she was on holiday in Sicily, they’ve been staying with Sabrina who owns a small kennels in the Brindisi area, and are now off to start a new life with Ruth in Inverness, Scotland.

Maow's passport photo makes her look like Europe's most wanted feline! Doesn't really do her justice, does it?

Gary looks funny! And the kitties are wonderful. My mom’s picture in the passport looks like Maow’s too, she is always afraid that she will land in jail. She looks like serial mom – literally :o)

What is it with passport photos – they are the worst you can ever have taken!

Just a friend courier S met on the road. He was persuaded to stay where he was as the weather where we were going would suck 😉

Looks like you posted the same picture of Harlequin and Moonbeam, they look so much alike.
Yes, wondering about Gary…? Not your usual passenger for sure.

Wouldn’t put it past us but they are very very alike 😉 Gary was just a nosy local – we said he wouldn’t like it where we were going and he tended to agree.

Those amazing eyes! And Gary’s green matches meow’s eyes. Wow.

They are stunning and it would take something as colourful as Gary to match them.

Don’t do that to my typist – she assumed the first photo was of Maow – did all sort of funny things to her. For a while she just scrolled to the full photo then went back and read the first sentence about a lovely grey Maow, scrolled back to the photo, and back to the sentence. And no it didn’t immediately occur to her to actually finish reading the post! Do you see what I have to put up with??

I suspect the kitties would find Gary quite interesting. “Great, Mom, you brought us a snack!” 🙂 –Curt

Curt! Unfortunately you are right – Gary would not have enjoyed meeting the cats 😀

We'd love to hear from you
