First hellos for Ike and JJ, reunion for Desy, and Coco is finally on her way

First hellos for Ike and JJ, reunion for Desy, and Coco is finally on her way

Cheeky chappies Ike and JJ met their new owners for the first time on Irish soil. We could see straight away it was going to be a two-way street of love for these Swedish Vallhunds!

In Chesterfield, Desy and her owner were over the moon to be reunited after a trek from Italy and a couple of weeks apart.

Meanwhile Shar Pei Coco, who travelled from Barcelona, had an unexpected short stay in France! The reason for that was that she had two passports — rabies vaccination in one, and tick and flea treatment in the other. She boarded with the lovely Madame Fermon in Calais while her tick and flea treatment was normalised; and Animalcouriers popped back across the Channel for her today.

Poor Coco , but I’m glad you managed the situation. I wonder why they were so “meticulous” in this case… that’s not typical for france LOL

What a happy bunch they are!!! Even little Coco was probably smiling (although it’s tough to see with a Shar Pei!!).

He’s right though! The French don’t care as very few borders are patrolled in mainland Europe.

So near but so far! Yes, they will be very relieved when this little hiccup is over.

So cute to see the Vallhund pups – a breed you’ve introduced me to. Had never heard of the over here. They almost look like Huskies, with shorter legs- curled tail and all (I googled for adult images.)

Bred for similar climates but don’t think Vallhund’s would be much use with sleds 😉

Awww Desy 😀 the fact that the pic is blurry must mean she was just extatic!

Yes, wouldn’t have mattered if we waited a few more minutes, the reunion was very happy and bouncy 😀

Ike and JJ are too cute.
It sucks that Cocco had to wait, towel dogs need respect!
I love Shar Peis, they look like towels.

I love the texture of a shar pei coat. I want to kiss Cocoa please. Wait. There’s another one that’s named after food.
