Desy travelled with Animalcouriers from Florence in Italy last month. She spent 10 days in kennels, waiting for her new home in Chesterfield to be ready. Now she’s on her way, with the kennels waving her off saying what a very good girl she is.
JJ and Ike are a beautiful pair of Swedish Vallhund puppies with great personalities. JJ is into everything while Ike watches, worrying that JJ will get told off. Impossible to be cross with those little short legs and big black eyes — they’d melt the hardest of hearts! These two were born in Ipswich and are being big and brave on their journey across the Irish Sea. We’ll meet their new owners in Dublin who’ll drive them to their new home in the Republic of Ireland.
Glad everyone is making it home safe…Claude is my favorite…what a face!
Claude is a character and a half!
What a great group of travelers…..especially that Claude (what a face!) and the pups!
Pam
Courier S had lots of fun and games with the pups. Claude has the most wonderful face 😀
How beautiful they are! And JJ and Ike have the total “Awwwww-factor” :o) I don’t know much about this breed, but I will ask Mr. Google now, they look interesting :o)
We collected gorgeous Vallhund Alice (http://animalcouriers.wordpress.com/2013/05/20/alice-is-swapping-sweden-for-the-uk/) from Sweden earlier this year and absolutely fell in love with the breed.
What breed is Desy and how big is she? I like her looks. –Curt
Desy is a mix – not sure what of. She’s roughly Alsatian size but doesn’t look nearly so big in this photo. She’s gorgeous and very well loved.
Thought she had a mix look. I could tell she was well loved. Thanks. –Curt
OMG, Desy looks just like our Spike!! They could be TWINS, and we thought Spike was some random mixed breed of questionable heritage – only to find he has a European cousin!! 🙂
What an accident of fate that is as we think Desy is a random mix too. They’d make a fine couple 😉
OMG, they’re all so gorgeous :). What a trip it must have been for them. Bless their sweet wee souls.
The little ones are up for anything!
Xenia looks lovely and what a happy ending! Hooray! All the woofers are cute too! =^.^=
She is a gorgeous minx!
Love the endings for the animals that are rescues. I’m curious of why a dog needed to be brought from another country to be a therapy dog. Oodles of dogs are right in one’s backyard so to speak. Apparently this one that looks to be bloodhound or some such breed must have some sort of special abilities or do you know. Just very curious about that.
Think it’s just that they’ve always had French Mastiffs and that’s where they got their latest from. They obviously train them up to be useful 😉
Love that a ginger girl has a new life 🙂 love that a young Claude is so serious looking about his new job..love that two puppies are desperately cute and just love that every animal is happy and loved 🙂
Hope he likes it more than walking in the rain 😀
Hahahahaah 🙂
Wow that was just an overload of cuteness!
Courier S was spoilt for choice 🙂
Love your posts and photos. OMG, Claude aks neo Claude, is going to make a lot of people smile. What a perfect little/big guy for a therapy dog. So darn cute. xoxo
He is destined to be a great therapy dog – everyone will want to give him a big hug!
The puppies stole my heart this time around.
Haven’t had too much puppy porn recently but these two are a delight.
They’re all gorgeous!
A very photogenic and lovely load of passengers.
What a fantastic job you all have! To spend the days with these precious little souls and get them to their forever families with care is beyond a gift. The only thing that would make it better (for me anyways) is a people sized kennel so I could ride out back with the likes of JJ and Ike and just snuggle them all the way 😀
We do get a lot of requests to travel along with our crew but the accommodation always brings you up short!
Love Desy’s doggie grin & Claude is adorable!!! All the 4 leggeds look lovely & it seems Ireland is going to welcome some lovely 4 leggeds!!! Another successful trip! 🙂
Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue
It was very successful and all are nice and settled now!
Ireland has just bonused some great 4 leggeds 🙂
