Cats and dogs from Belgium, France and Spain are heading to the UK

Animalcouriers collected the wonderfully named Lemmy and Igor near Brussels, to take them to their new home in Warwickshire. When we arrived these canny cats knew something was up, and had gone into hiding. Fortunately their owner Ineke managed to track them down and suddenly they were in their baskets ready to transfer to our van, where they seem to have settled in well and are taking the trip calmly.

Travelling from Spain are French Bulldog Panceta and her companion Kiwi. Panceta is a very busy, robust dog who enjoys dragging us round on her walks, while Kiwi is less sure about walking in all this grim weather and prefers to be carried!

Lovely Labrador Lola is travelling with us to London. We reckon she'd easily win any 'waggiest tail' contest!

Somewhat confusingly we have two dogs on board called Coco, but luckily they could hardly look more different!

This Coco is a tiny Shih Tzu with the biggest dog tag we've ever seen! Travelling from Spain to London, she's very sweet, affectionate and cuddly.

And this Coco is a Shar Pei. She's the apple of her owner Charlotte's eye. Here she is looking very regal on her comfy throne.

Pretty cat Chulo joined the trip in Sitges in northern Spain and is relocating with her owner Madeleine to Hove.

Somewhere near Brussels…?? That’s almost in the neighbourhood of Mr. Bowie. Coffee and chocolates were waiting for you, my friends…

Gnash! You’d have been eaten out of house and home and Mr B would have been a tad worried πŸ˜‰

WOW – what an incredibly diverse load of animals on this trip!! They all look quite happy though – even with some rain it doesn’t seem to dampen their spirits…….Lovely.

Nothing seems to stop them getting their sniffs in – Claude will learn the importance of walks, whatever the weather!

Can you imagine if they got swapped? What would their owners make of the exchange? πŸ˜€

How cool to have two coco’s! Coco loco! Hehe! I think kiwi has the right idea why walk when you can be regally carried around?! =^.^=

It was Coco loco! Kiwi was giving Claude ideas about being carried – nearly broke courier M2s back πŸ˜‰

What a fabulous group – I don’t know how you ever let their owners have them back after spending the travel time!! I’d want to keep them all…have a wonderfully safe journey!

We’d have to open an animal sanctuary and have rather a few disgruntled owners after us!

My little bit would agree with Kiwi. Seems we had a tiny little cloud burst this morning. Sissy didn’t have to go out in the rain, but she didn’t like the wet grass.

    • Animalcouriers Nov 4, 2013 at 5:44 pm - Reply

Prissy Sissy! We know a number of such beasts but luckily the majority of our passengers just want to get out and at it, the muddier the better πŸ˜‰

Was that passive or active resistance Claude showed about walking in the rain i.e. “If you want me to go out it that stuff, you are going to have to drag me!” πŸ™‚ –Curt

All so lovely! I think I would carry around little teeny Kiwi for as long as she desired, sooooooo adorable. What kind of dog is Kiwi, or maybe still a puppy? LOL, you’re right! There’s no mixing up the two Coco’s. Charlotte has found a very nice pillow for her darling, I really fancy those colours.

Trust you to spy that lovely pillow! Not sure what type of dog Kiwi is but that is her full size πŸ˜‰
