Omorfia recovers from a nasty accident and is moving to Derbyshire

Another Nine Lives Greece kitty waiting for us in Athens is Omorfia, whose name is Greek for ‘beauty’. Omorfia will be travelling with us to her new home in Derbyshire.

Cordelia from Nine Lives takes up Omorfia’s story:

“Omorfia was found by the side of the road, hit by a car and critically injured. The Good Samaritan who found her rushed her to the vet but, very sadly, it turned out that one of Omorfia’s front legs was irreparably harmed and the only course of action was amputation. The operation was done by one of the vets we work with, and Omorfia has quickly got used to moving around on three legs. She’s been enjoying lots of love and attention at her foster home with the girl who rescued her, who gave her a safe haven where she could recuperate and blossom. We believe that Omorfia is about two years old, and she is enormously playful with boundless energy and enthusiasm. After searching for a loving home for her for more than six months, a miracle happened for Omorfia — a lovely couple in Derbyshire who already have rescue cats and dogs saw Omorfia on the internet and fell in love with her! Now, thanks to Animalcouriers, she’s finally on her way to her forever home!”
