Handsome Weimaraners Spot and Seren have been staying with Gary at Digs4Dogs kennels in Dolores, on Spain’s Costa Blanca.

Unfortunately their previous owner couldn’t keep them, but they’ve had the good fortune to be adopted by Sylvia from Darlington. So Gary arranged their transport to the UK with Animalcouriers. Gary has known these two dogs for a number of years and was rather sad to see them go. They’ve lived in the Dolores area for most of their lives so this will be quite an adventure for them.

Both were waiting for us when we arrived, and after a quick inspection all around our van, they hopped into the back and posed nicely for their photos.

Meanwhile Tigger, Ginger, Kitty and Bunny joined us from Provence. They’re travelling with us to the UK to rejoin their family who’re relocating and transporting their dog Lizzie themselves. All three cats are among the many foundlings that the family has taken in over the years. Ginger is the senior puss at 12 — he’s on heart medication and special food to keep his weight up. The family found Ginger out on a dog walk, and Tigger and Kitty were adopted in subsequent years.
