From Scotland with love

Animalcouriers collected two families of pets in Scotland with very different destinations. Crispin the cat and his canine chums Cadbury, Harley and Caper travelled with us from the Borders to a kennels near Heathrow airport. From there they'll be flying off to Cape Town in South Africa. Handsome tuxedo cat Crispin West Highland Terriers Cadbury and Harley, aged seven, with one-year-old Caper the Cocker Spaniel Also on board are Henri and Fraise. This gorgeous pair of 15-year-old cats are old friends of Animalcouriers. Previous trips with us have taken them from the UK to France, and [...]

A new home on Loch Ness; and Cleo is off to Suffolk

Animalcouriers delivered Boerboels Barbie and Max, along with cats Daisy, Teddy Bear, Tiger, Tweety and Monkey, to their new home. It's in an enviable spot on a hillside overlooking Loch Ness in Scotland, and we're sure they'll all enjoy their new environment. All seven got a very warm welcome from their family. Max and Barbie had great fun galloping around their new garden; and the cats very quickly discovered how to get behind the kitchen units — which is why there aren't any photos of them. Their family have promised to send us some soon so we can see how [...]

Max and Barbie, and Daisy and her kittens, are heading to the Scottish Highlands

These two Boerboels and their feline companions are off to their new home in Scotland with Animalcouriers. We're taking them all the way to Drumnadrochit, on the loch where Nessie may — or may not — live. We spent last night in Preston, and only the hope the rain doesn't delay our journey. The kittens enjoy their breakfast Barbie… …and Max, who look somewhat alarmed at the possibility of meeting the Loch Ness Monster

Millie from Malaga flies to Dublin with Aer Lingus

Pretty little Maltese cross Shih Tzu Millie stayed the night with courier A and her family before taking off from Malaga airport for Ireland. She flew direct to Dublin with Aer Lingus. It's a new direct route for us that avoids having to travel via London — considerably more relaxing for the passengers. Millie was very attentive while courier A prepared dinner, ever hopeful that some of the spicy Mexican chicken would fall on the floor!

Autumnal walks near Mont Blanc

Yesterday we collected Desy in Prato, Italy, who is travelling with us to Chesterfield to rejoin her family. Today we went through the Mont Blanc tunnel into France, where the dogs had a slightly damp walk in the autumn weather, among falling leaves. We expect to reach Calais this evening. The story of Hector and Kalista

Among our Greek passengers are young Hector and Kalista, a pair of nearly blind kittens from the Greek island of Paros. Fortunately, they came to the attention of the Paros Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and are now on their way to a new home in Ireland. They've been adopted by the amazing Ann and Trevor who have a wonderful menagerie of pets,  many of whom have eyesight problems or other special needs, among them Aris, Ginger, Angel and Stevie who travelled from Greece with Animalcouriers on previous trips (you can keep up with them all on the 4Poshpaws facebook page). Lena from PAWS [...]

Barbie, Max and their five feline companions are heading to Scotland

Animalcouriers collected Boerboels Barbie and Max from the Brindisi area of Italy. The dogs were accompanied by their chums Daisy and her four kittens — Tiger, Teddy Bear, Tweey and Monkey. They're all relocating to Inverness — swapping the punishing heat of the Italian summer for the punishing cold and wind of the far north of Scotland! The family is a well travelled one, and their owners hope this next stop will be a fairly permanent one! In their rush to get away, the owners forgot to pass the cats' passports back to their vet for updating. Having realised there [...]

Morning walks on Italian soil for our Greek passengers

Following an overnight ferry crossing from Patras in Greece, Animalcouriers reached the Italian port of Brindisi, where courier M2 was waiting to join courier M for the remainder of the trip. Our Greek passengers enjoyed a morning stroll in the Italian sunshine. Kim Tony A close-up of Tony's wonderful Filozoikos bow Fudge Fudge and Bella playing (well, Fudge is playing anyway!)
