Walking in the shadow of Mont Blanc

Walking in the shadow of Mont Blanc

Animalcouriers enjoyed amazing views of Mont Blanc while walking the dogs this morning.

We made good time on our journey today and reached Calais at 7pm. We think the dogs are noticing the cooler weather as there was a definite spring in their step when we walked them this evening. We check in at 8.30 tomorrow morning and should reach our Surrey base by about lunchtime.

After being a little travel sick, Bubbles has perked up no end — must be the fresh mountaiin air — and enjoyed a serious nose around in the undergrowth as we walked under the Massif du Mont Blanc.

Rosa was also fascinated by the sound of the rushing river. She loves the feel of outdoors and would doubtless have gone for a great gallop through the adjoining field if she could have.

Like Rosa, Carolina is a briliant 'walking' dog who's good on the lead and enjoys being outdoors. While courier J was walking her, Carolina kept coming up and licking J's hand, as if to say, "I'm really enjoying this."

Cool mountain air, great doggie smells, a stream to “think” about jumping in and great views… hard to beat from a dog’s perspective! Mine too… except maybe for the smells. 🙂 –Curt

    What an incredible mountain!

I’m still trying to get my subscription to your blog worked out. I’m getting email notices for all blogs except yours now, and I’m not getting the confirmation email when I resubscribe. Never fear! We will one day be reunited!

I’d take a walk with all your guests over some fancy watch any day. I will say, the views are breathtaking too. Who wouldn’t love the outdoors there? My gosh, beautiful.
