Maggie and Becky have become the best of friends

Animalcouriers transported Maggie from Greece to the UK in May this year. Abandoned and poorly, Maggie was lucky enough to be rescued by Eleni and nursed back to health, then adopted by Sara in the UK. Maggie and Sara's Poodle Becky immediately hit it off when they met, and their bond has gone from strength to strength, as Sara tells us: "Maggie has now been with us for two months, and I can report that Becky and Maggie are best friends. Niga and Viking are swapping London for Amsterdam

Niga and Viking's owners have already left the UK for the Netherlands. Ideally, these two pets would have been on the same flight, but BA doesn't carry pets at the weekend. So they'll be jetting off early next week. In the meantime, Niga is homeboarding with Animalcouriers while Viking spends a few days at a cattery. Black dogs like Niga are always hard to photograph! Dogs, cats and hens set off for France and Spain

Animalcouriers' latest trip to France and Spain set off yesterday. First on board was Golden Retriever Olie, who's been home boarding with courier M and is travelling with us to Marbella in Spain. We also collected a handsome pair of cats called Lewis and Clarke; Bambi the Chihuahua; and Boris the Waterdog. Jenny's hens joined us in Oxford and are on their way to the Dordogne. Jenny was very glad Animalcouriers could transport her hens, but we suspect she hadn't envisaged quite how much organisation would be involved.
