Having reunited Mia with Maureen in the Algarve, the Animalcouriers southern European trip is now heading back north through Spain, collecting a number of delightful pets along the way.
We stopped at Sotogrande in Andalusia to pick up Milagros. Starving and in a terrible state, she was lucky enough to be found and rescued by Miranda. Milagros has been staying with a kind Spanish friend of Miranda’s, who’s helped to nurse her back into the much better condition she’s in now, ready for her journey to the UK to rejoin Miranda.
Ole and Eusebio met us at La Canada, a well known shopping centre near Marbella. Their dog Biscuit is travelling with us to Brighton, where he’ll shortly be joined by Ole, while Eusebio stays on to work in Spain for the summer. We hope to see more of Biscuit as he and his owners look set to commute between Spain and the UK, and they say they really miss him when he’s not with them.
Those dogs are all so cute, especially Milagros. When I saw her picture I immediately wished she could live with us. Who can abandon such a cute and intelligent looking dog?
You are right about that intelligent look. Obviously worked on Miranda.
Misty and Poppy look like fun – I’ll bet you will have a funny trip with this great passengers.
We are very sure we will 😀
They are my babies and they will defo keep you on your toes. We miss them already but im sure they are having a lovely road trip. Safe journey to you all. Tracy & Stacey.xxx
All going very well with your babes! They’re very good at knitting on their walks 😀
You should come and pic me up!
I’ll bring my food, I have a passport, I’m vaccinated and don’t bite.
And where would you like to go dear sir?
Anywhere it’s ok.
I’m not picky, we’ll look for a forever home for me, I cook, someone will want me, I hope so.
We’re sure the blogosphere will come to your aid – if you cook, perhaps you could be the onboard chef?
Perfect!
I’ll grab 2 changes of clothes and I’ll wait for you at the nearest/most convenient exit.
What’s on the menu for tonight then?
We’ll have garlic and oil pasta with shrimps, for those allergic to sea food we’ll do it with chicken breast thinly sliced and marinated in garlic and parsley.
What exit did you say you’d be waiting at? 😀
Hello! So excited to have Pepe back with me in Scotland 😀 can you tell me when you’ll be in Valencia? My housemate has to pick him up two hours away to bring him back to Valencia for his worming treatment, so the earlier we know, the better 🙂 thanks!
