Crossing the Channel with Leroy and Nikita

Crossing the Channel with Leroy and Nikita

These two beautiful, impeccably behaved Rhodesian Ridgebacks have cleared customs and are crossing the Channel to the UK.

Because they originate from the US, their microchips are different from those used in Europe. So a special microchip reader had to be pressed into service.

Fortunately, all went well, and they’re on schedule to reach their new home in Cambridge later today.

Kira has crossed the channel already. You should have had contact about delivery time.

Very alike, aren’t they. They sure don’t need to go to charm school 😉

      Yes, I thought of Eko!

Love those smiles! Really makes me want to get Eko a little sister soon.

Yes, we think the smiles are gorgeous. Leroy and Nikita are a great team – Eko might just love a little sister!

They do indeed have that alert look that almost asks what they could do to please you…. or were you holding an especially loved treat?

Now Gunta, you’re not suggesting we resort to trickery to get a good shot? 😀

Oh look, just like Eko. I hadn’t really seen one before following ‘Marking Our Territory’, now I notice them everywhere. They’re so expressive!

Aren’t they and yes, we’ve had quite a number of Ridgebacks as passengers since we got to know Eko too.
