Sleek black cat Moka is travelling with Animalcouriers to Spain, in the company of her canine companion Frida. They’re heading for the Madrid area and both have relaxed completely into their journey.
Also on our passenger list are feline trio Berkeley, Tiffany and Boots, who’re off to the sunny Spanish resort of Sitges.
And we’re delighted to welcome back frequent flyers Jules and Jim. These two black-and-white brothers are off to spend the summer at their holiday home near the French/Spanish border. They’ll stay a few nights with friends in Narbonne until their owner can join them. They’re so familiar with the route by now they could almost drive themselves!
What a relaxed troupe 🙂
They are – all the cats are curious and nosey, no shrinking violets this time 😉
Then it makes for a very good trip! Safe travels and enjoy the feline company…and canine of course! 🙂
OMC how we like to see that cats driving.. yeehaaa 😀
He he – what on earth would the route be if taken by cats? 😀
Que lastima for Frida!! Mucho cuidado.
Don’t worry about Frida – she can hold her own!
Noooo stay strong Frida! xD
Frida has her own private time out on walks 😉
Frida doesn’t look too worried about all those cats!
You said it Clowie – Frida is doing just fine!
Oh you have cute passengers – is Berkeley related with Nellie?
They are a very cute bunch. They do look very similar.
Poor dog! Beautiful cats though!
It does make a change for dogs to be outnumbered by cats on a trip. Frida isn’t intimidated though 😉
No worries. Looks like Frida can handle all them fur balls just fine.
You said it! She has her walks and she don’t care.
Poor pup, but the cats are darling as is he.
I think Berkely is issuing a warning.
Berkely was just telling us how things should be!
What a funny name for a cat ‘Jim’, HA. That’s my hubbies name too.
It’s a great name. They’re named after protagonists in the Henri-Pierre Roché sem-autobiographical novel Jules et Jim (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jules_et_Jim) and made famous by the Truffaut film of the same name, made in 1962. The characters of the two cats do match those of the characters!
Wow, well that Catherine was one crazy bee-ach, LOL Poor Jules. I may have to see if I can rent that. I’d love all the places in the story: Austria, Paris. Thanks for the link!
Do try and watch it – anything with Catherine Deneuve is rather special anyway!
Hope it’s smooth sailing!
Thanks Basil – no nasty border crossing here!
Paws down Berkeley is my FAVE…altho all the cats are so lovely!! Frida may start meowing soon!!! These 4 leggeds travel more than I have in my whole life, lol!!!
Sherri-Ellen xo
Ha ha – Frida does understand cat speak very well as Moka has taught her well 😉
