Many of the dogs rescued by Kyrenia Animal Rescue (KAR) are Cyprus Poodles or include that breed in their makeup. Margaret of KAR has christened them all Cyprodoodles, and many are looking for loving new homes.
Here’s the background on just four of these lovely dogs — all young adults — who’re currently being looked after at the KAR rescue centre. If you have room in your life for a Cyprodoodle, visit the KAR website rehoming page or contact KAR.
These dogs break my heart. They surely can find good forever homes. The Red Man wishes it for all of them
Thanks Red Man – they are the most wonderful dogs and deserve better.
Heartbreaking that people have not yet seen these precious animals as potential mates for life..good luck to you all xxx
Isn’t it – Doodle dogs with some much to offer. Great character too.
Hope they all find homes…sometimes this world gets to me 🙁 thankgoodness for people who care 🙂
I had never heard of a Cyprus Poodle or Cyprodoodle! Fascinating. I hope these sweeties get adopted soon.
They are everywhere on the island, a very distinct breed. We’re hoping the new name will give them more prominence 😉
Every dog deserves a loving home. I hope these Cyprodoodles find theirs. If everyone shares your post maybe they will. I am sharing 🙂
Thanks Linda – the more people hear about them the better 😀
Dinky looks tasty – like a caffè latte :o)
Yes, that colouring is very edible 😉
Love them and love the name
Isn’t it great!
Such sweetr dogs. surely with this write up some lucky people will want to adopt these dogs. A generous person could take all 4 of them and and their life would be so enriched.
Here’s hoping 😀
so cute…..these guys all deserve a home…..we hope they find one soon!
Thanks – they are such a lovely breed.
The look of love…
Dangerously so!
I wonder if Sissy would like a mate, but I’m not so sure I could handle two. Then again Sissy might not take to sharing… Hope all of these little loves find happy homes.
It may be too late for Sissy – having you to herself for so long 😉
They are all gorgeous. If I was nearby I’d have Flopsy in a heartbeat.
Flopsy does that to us too 😉
We already have three of these dogs, plus one other. They truly are very loving dogs and make fantastic pets. If anyone is tempted to adopt them i would say go for it. They mix with other dogs without a problem.
Hi Steve – thanks so much for posting this. Knowing how they settle into homes with other dogs is important for prospective adopters. So far we can’t think of a thing that would prevent anyone taking a Cyprodoodle on 😉
We take Dinky and many other dogs, including cyprodoodles, a walk twice a week. Dinky is delightful and loves the walk. She has grown in confidence now and copes well with the other 12 to 14 dogs we take at the same time. So many lovely dogs needing homes and lots of cyprodoodles.
What a wonderful sight you must all be out walking together! Great to hear Dinky is getting more comfortable with the pack. Indeed, it isn’t just Cyrodoodles need homes but a push for particular dogs can make a difference.
What size are those dogs? It is hard to tell from the photo.
