Cordelia from Nine Lives Greece has been in touch to ask if anyone can offer beautiful green-eyed Lakme a forever home. Around eight months old, Lakme was found just before Easter in a park in central Athens, where she had almost certainly been deliberately abandoned. Her foster-sister, Maja will be travelling with us to the UK this month, but Lakme's potential home has unfortunately fallen through. Last week Animalcouriers were called to an unusual collection. A beautiful eight-month-old Bull Terrier pup called Amina had arrived in London from the US, with paperwork that had been wrongly administered and so didn't meet the UK/EU entry requirements for pets travelling from the US. Her family was devastated to hear that for Amina to be able to stay in the UK, she would need to spend up to three months in quarantine.
