Courier J flew into North Cyprus to meet up with couriers M and J2 on their arrival. While they took a well earned break, watching the waves and dipping their toes in the sea, courier J drove all over town looking for a car wash that would clean out the Animalcouriers van.
She eventually found the lovely Sam, who was very happy to help. A couple of beers were needed to get through the task!
How lucky to find the obliging Sam to help you with this chore…A few beers is certainly in order
Hi Gizmo – you are so right. Sam is the kind of chap we need in every port of call! A couple of beers set him up perfectly 😉
Getting ready to rock and roll!
You guessed it Red Man – the fun and games are about to start up again 😉
My Sissy didn’t leave any hairs in my car….. I don’t think I could ever go back to all that shedding. I often tell folks I shed more than she does. 😀
You could be the perfect ambassador for KAR – they’re about to embark on a major push to home their newly coined name for their ‘Cyprodoodles’. Exactly like Sissy, they don’t shed and are just gorgeous dogs 😀
Glad to see that you run a clean machine.
It’s squeaky clean now thanks to Sam. A big job after such a busy and long trip.
Excellent that you found Sam to wash the van….he sure did a great job & how cool to have a mat hanger too!!!!
LOL about his dog hair remark….the same is true of cats’; there is always fur somewhere no matter how clean one is!!!! And I wouldn’t have it any other way 😉
Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue too
Sam did a really fantastic job of the van. We were so relieved to find him after such a long journey. We find we wear as much dog and cat hair as we clean up each day 😉
You know I never thought about the cleaning of the van or any vehicles which is silly!! Of course you would have to have any vehicle you transport 4 leggeds cleaned after every trip!!! D’UH!!! Sam did a great job & I hope there are many ‘Sams’ all over to keep your vehicles in tiptop shape!!!
I too wear cat fur…even on my ‘good clothes’ no matter if they are in a sperate clothing bag & I don’t let Nylablue near me…I even have a lint roller for my purse for this sneaky fur bits that show up as soon as you leave the house 😉
But you know I wouldn’t have it any other way!!!!
Have a sunny Sunday from Sherri-Ellen xo
As an animal owner, you have to get used to it! We tend to choose clothes where it shows up as little as possible – gone are the trendy blacks and navy blues 😀
I have 2 pairs of black pants for ‘good’ wear & my good tops are all in a clothing bag. I wear blue jeans alot so the cat hair compliments my ensemble!!! I don’t mind the fur because the love of a 4 legged outweighz a few bits of fur….ok alot of fur on clothes…hehehe!!
Will work for beer? (grin) BTW, your blog inspired my blog on Socrates the Basset Hound, today.
😀 Oh, we’re going over right now to read more on the wonderful Socrates.
I hadn’t thought about the work needed between each trip to clean the van! I’m only glad that isn’t my job!! It would take a lot of kibble, liver treats and bacon to get me working on that 🙂
It’s a major operation after a trip and finding Sam too the pain out of it. Best to stand well clear dear Zena when that water jet is in operation 😀
My goodness, dog hair sure is hard to get out of the vehicle! I have a feeling Sam earned his pay that day. 🙂 Now you’re all cleaned up and ready to take the next group to their destination!
Sam was a godsend! Yup, all spick and span for the next group of passengers 😉
Wow I will bring my ride to Sam too – oh that’s a little far way :o)
Just a little too far 😀
I have you on weekly digest now, and WOW, what a week! It occurs to me that you have an excellent job. You get to play with the animals and see lovely places each and every day. Yes, I know there are down times, but for the most part this looks like the job to have. 😀
Oh yes, and we can’t leave out all the lovely people you meet too!
Oh, Sam really did us proud!
Thanks Lynda – it isn’t bad, is it?! If it was 100% perfect, just think of the competition we would have 😉 It was quite a week but suspect your next weekly digest is going to be fuller 😀
That reminds me………….my cars a mess.
Groan – mine too 😀
I love it when the car’s all clean and no mess anymore. 🙂
