Kessra, formerly known as Caesar, travelled with us on a recent trip from Greece to the UK. He’d been taken care of at the Filozoikos Shelter in Athens, and was adopted by Helen and John in Suffolk.

Although a somewhat nervous fellow at first, Helen and John and their other two dogs have clearly worked rapid miracles and Kessra now seems to be thoroughly enjoying his new life. John reports:

“It is with great regret that we will have to return Kessra!! On Sunday I left my rum and milk on the table and Kessra started to drink it!Β What taste our boy has got.Β Martha

[from the Filozoikos Shelter] had said to take things slowly with him, but it is now four weeks and we cannot stop him. We have an orchardΒ fenced off at the allotment and we let him off for a free run and you should see him go. He’ll be ready to run at Lowestoft dog race course next week!”
