Sam met Arapina near the well known monastery in Paleokastritsa. Worried about what would happen to Arapina once all the tourists had gone home, she contacted The Ark.
The Ark discovered that Arapina, about a year and a half old, was taken care of by the monastery. But when the head monk heard that Sam would like to give Arapina a secure future, he gave his blessing and Louisa took Arapina to her home, to wait until she could make her journey to the UK, where a new life awaits her in Blackpool.
Sam is getting very excited about seeing Arapina again.
Those are such lovely pictures xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
Yes, of a happy hound ready for a new life!
what a lovely story!!
It is touching – she is obviously very endearing and the kind Monks had kept her going so well.
That last pic is so sweet. Looks like there are quite a few dogs there.
They squeeze as many in as they possibly can while waiting for homes 😉
Another beautiful story. It is lovely to hear of the people who help these animals to balance all the cruelty we come across.
They do such a fine job.
Love the last picture 🙂
I’m a complete sodden mess now
