We decided that these two ferrets would be more comfortable on the journey in more spacious accommodation. So we transferred them to a bigger carry box we bought from Louisa at The Ark on Corfu, and courier M made them a hammock so that they can sleep up off the floor — something ferrets really like doing. Very comfy thanks!
When Mick and Brenda were on holiday in Kassiopi, they came across Julia, a Setter aged around six, whose owner kept her tied up with just a little box to sleep in. These two kittens have been adopted from Corfu by Philippa and Edward. They initially found Athina in in Paleokastritsa, half blind and in poor condition. They took her to The Ark, and Spiridoula has been looking after her at home until she could travel to the UK. While recovering in Spiridoula's care, Athina had another kitten for company — Apollo, who had been rescued after five days hiding inside the engine of a truck.
