Dogs, frogs and tortoise safely delivered in La Coruna

This evening Animalcouriers delivered the mini-zoo of Pudding the tortoise, two Peacock frogs and Westies Pinnochio and Flori to their new home in La Coruna in Spain. The whole family was thrilled to see them arrive. Excitement all round Flori gives everyone in the UK a big wave Pudding takes a last huge bit of French lettuce before leaving our care to try the Spanish variety

Our second French and Spanish trip is underway

Our southern European run is so busy this month we have two vans on the move. Couriers S and L left first and are now deep in Spain. They'll take in Portugal too before heading back north along the western side of Spain and France. Meanwhile couriers J and M, rested after their latest trip to North Cyprus, are doing a shorter journey through France and down as far as Barcelona. Last night in Saragossa

When we stopped for our afternoon walk yesterday there was a terrific storm with thunder, lightning and rain. It gave us a great excuse to rush back to play in the van, and try out new biscuit tricks with Pinocchio and Flori. We then motored on to Saragossa (also known as Zaragoza) where we stayed the night. Bonnie and Teddy arrive in Pego

Unfortunately we didn't manage to get any photos of Bonnie and Teddy when we dropped them off in the quaint and charming town of Pego on Spain's Costa Blanca. The street was only just wide enough for our van — and as we stopped, hordes of small children surrounded the van, swiftly followed by all their fathers carrying their prize cockerels!
