Life for the cats at the Pia Bella hotel in Cyprus continues as normal. Hotel visitors are invited to feed cats at the designated feeding station. That means the cats know where they'll get food, and also that there aren't too many comments about cats stealing guests' breakfasts! We caught up with the handsome ginger tom we'd met last time, who's since been neutered thanks to Kyrenia Animal Rescue (KAR) and the kindness of Smokey's owner Val. He seems none the worse for 'having had his nuts chopped off'!
The boat with Animalcouriers' van on board arrived at the port of Girne in Cyprus this morning. As she watched the disembarkation process, courier J felt that courier M should never again complain about how much luggage she takes!
Lovely Binks was collected in Merseyside for her journey to Barcelona. She's a very affectionate cat who loves cuddles and had a great purr. She's becoming quite the frequent traveller now, having made the journey back and forth a few times. Not surprisingly, she seems to know exactly where she's going.
You'll know that Sopi has been homeboarding with Animalcouriers. Now she's finally on her way to Barcelona. During the journey there have been storms — hail, rain and wind. Sopi has remained calm and quiet. We received a lovely message that the non-English-speaking side of Sopi's family are practising for our arrival. It goes something like this: "Hello, thanks, Sopi alive, bye." Indeed, Sopi is very much alive and living up to her energetic Springer Spaniel breeding.
Beautifully behaved Angel joined us from Reading and is on her way to Alicante in Spain. With her perfect manners, she really lives up to her name. She loves her walks and is getting lots of kisses and cuddles.
