Rescuing Romanian street dogs

Rescuing Romanian street dogs

In less than a week, Animalcouriers will be collecting a group of 10 dogs who’ve been rescued from a life on the streets in Romania by Deb and her friends. These lucky dogs — Andy, Blondy, Lord, Max, Meggie, Porto, Ronnie, Rony, Roxy and Yoga — all now have the chance of a new life in England.

Deb and her friends have been working with a kennels in Romania where about 40 dogs are currently waiting for new homes.

The relocation of these 10 has been very carefully planned. Not every dog in the kennels would be a suitable candidatefor to travel — the decision-making process has involved many elements, including assessments by behaviourists.

If you’re interested in finding out how to offer a Romanian street dog a home, do get in touch with us and we’ll pass your details on.
