We have been keeping Conrad in the UK up to date on how the six dogs from the Filozoikos Shelter in Athens are doing on their journey. Conrad has also been checking their progress on our blog and told us:
“Everything about the way you are doing this is just so heartfelt; we cannot thank you enough. It’s an absolute pleasure to be working with you.”
We in turn are impressed by how gentle all the dogs are, and lively too — all keen on biscuits, attention and walks. The volunteers at the shelter in Athens have done a great job and prepared them well — not just for the journey but for the next stage in their lives.
It’s clearly a team effort between the Greek shelter and the UK group. Conrad tells us:
“The credit on the UK side for the success of this work goes to our very own Carmel and Angela, who are just the best at what they do, and to our lovely and ever growing community of families who have given deserving Filozoikos dogs such loving forever homes…we are forever so very grateful to each and every one of you.”
