Poppy and Misty have settled in well for their travels. They told us how much they're looking forward to getting to their Daddy in Spain. "It's so cold here, and our morning walk was through a wet field and down a very soggy path," they said. "We can't wait for the sunshine!"
Stella is just such a great Staffie. She's really sweet natured and loves her walks. We spotted her giving the benefit of her opinion to all the puppies around her, so asked her what she thought of them — they're ok as long as they mind their Ps and Qs when they're near me, was her reply. A true Staffie, she can't really see the point of other dogs when she's around.
These two brothers moving from rural West Sussex. They're off to live in Riogordo, which is located in a very beautiful, mountainous region of Spain. They are just the liveliest pair you could meet, always ready to jump and play. So we were quite relieved to get them to sit still long enough for a photo. Their Daddies, Robert and River, are missing them. We've told the dogs it won't be long now.
Here's Oscar out for a stroll near Vimoutiers in Normandy... I do like walking, he says, but I'm tired now and don't think I can go much further. But if I sit on my bottom for long enough, someone will carry me back, I'm sure!
At last the great day arrived and Animalcouriers could collect Oscar from the Landron family in northern France. They were sad to see him go, as he was the pick of the litter and could have done well in the show ring. He's certainly very handsome, or 'guapo' as they say in Spain, where he is off to live. And of course, before we could leave there was 'business' to attend to.
