Pets fly to Kuwait, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia

Animalcouriers recently organised for pets to fly to Kuwait, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. Bridget the Midget to Kuwait On a wet morning in London, Animalcouriers met tiny Yorkshire Terrier Bridget and her owner Jody off the train from north-east England. We arranged for Bridget’s Defra export certificate to be completed, then her paperwork was whisked into London to be legalised by the Kuwaiti Embassy. Jody got in touch to say: "Legislation changes / documentation requirements etc, an absolute nightmare of paperwork to be sorted. I left all of this to the Animalcouriers team. No problems at all, and Bridget [...]

Pets take off for the Middle East; and we catch up with recent passengers from Greece

While our couriers have been on the road with pets travelling in Europe, several intrepid dogs and a kitten have boarded planes to travel further afield. Lola Lovely Lola was one of our first passengers to the United Arab Emirates this year, when she flew to Dubai in January. Her owner had moved there just before Christmas and was keen for Lola to join him as soon as possible. Lola flew with Emirates, and Dubai Kennels and Cattery took care of her clearance and transfer to her home. Lola homeboarded with Animalcouriers before her flight. She certainly knows how to [...]

Tales from the Greek islands

The dogs who travelled with us from Lesvos and Lemnos by air have now arrived at their forever homes. Here are a few of their stories. Cinnamon Cinnamon's story is one of the most amazing we've come across. A stray on Lesvos, she became attached to Sam, a member of the Royal Navy whose patrol boat was looking out for immigrants in the Aegean Sea. During the several months that Sam and the rest of the crew were stationed on Lesvos, he and Cinnamon became good friends. So much so that Cinnamon would wait patiently at the port for Sam [...]

Here at Animalcouriers we have two trips on the go: this one carrying passengers to France and Italy, and the other one dedicated to pets from Greece (we'll update you on that trip shortly). But before setting off for France, we travelled as far as Scotland to collect and deliver pets. Winnie We collected fluffy Pomeranian Winnie in London, who's relocating to New Zealand. She travelled with us to Sussex, where she'll have a short stay in kennels until she flies to Auckland in August. Her owner has flown on ahead to get everything ready and is already excitedly planning [...]
