We reached Patros terminal earlier this afternoon, where it was a warm and sunny 18C.
We were there to collect Carrie’s cat Grendell from George. He has been looking after Grendell while she waited for her pet passport to become live.
George was rather wistful when the time came to say goodbye to Grendell. “I’m really sorry she’s going,” he said. “I didn’t think I’d ever get so attached to a cat, but it hit me a few days ago that I was feeling rather sad at the prospect of her leaving.”
Yes, how true it is, these attachments can form themselves almost without us noticing.
