Ronnie and Chrissie are inseparable

Ronnie and Chrissie are inseparable

Animalcouriers collected Ronnie dog and Chrissie cat from Di at Animal Inn in Guia, Portugal.

Ronnie and Chrissie are sharing accommodation because Chrissie is blind and needs to get her bearings from being close to Ronnie, who is looking after her on the journey.

Chrissie snuggles down for the trip

Walking with Ronnie past some colourful boats (Ronnie wondered if Crusoe noticed them, as he seems an adventurous sort of chap)

They’re a really charming duo and it’s so much more comforting for Chrissie to have a friend with her to ground her while she travels. Remarkable what good sunshine can do for a Blackberry camera!

Thanks for your comment on my girls! We can’t wait to have them back in Nottingham with us! They have lived in Portugal all there lives the the cold will be a shock to them! Ronnie found Chrissie as a kitten dumped in a box whilst we were out walking Christmas day 5 years ago( that’s why she is called Chrissie) she was blind when we found her. Since then they have always been together!

It is the most charming story and they are great together. What a saviour Ronnie is in more sense than one. We’ll take great care of them and wish them great times in Nottingham. Don’t worry about the cold, they’ll be happy with you wherever you go!

Racheal, thank you for sharing the story. What a good luck for Chrissie that you found her!
They will get used to cold. They can hide in a warm blanket and the will be fine.

We'd love to hear from you
