It’s hard to believe that this garden scene is in Kenya and not a sleepy Surrey suburb but this is Fang the cat’s new home.  Like his bigger cousins living not so far away he is king of all he surveys. Sitting on the bird table does of course help you to see a little further while surveying your kingdom.

Fang’s owners kindly wrote to us to let us know how he is fairing. “We’re always telling Fang off for his ornithological fascination. He promised us he wouldn’t sit under the bird table. It was quite funny when we took these photos because there was a queue of birds on the pagoda behind him shouting at him to get off the dinner table! He is, as you can see, the happiest cat ever. We have been so lucky because our garden is heaven for a cat. His collar now bears a bell so that he scares the birds away before he catches them. Unfortunately he has learnt to walk so it doesn’t ring!”

We got quite attached to Fang as his journey unfolded and it is lovely to see where he is now living and how well he has settled in.
