We received an email from Roger and Celia: “Sounds like you are making good progress, following it on the map and thanks for the update, it makes us feel a lot better. They have been on our minds all day, wondering how they are. They cannot come back now as we have dismantled the pens, and the railings are going back to our new home to make their new pens.”

The email went on to say they thought we were missing Poppy as she wasn’t on the blog. M sent a quick email suggesting that perhaps Poppy had decided not to travel after all?

A reply from Roger: “We checked down the back of the settee where she hides and as she wasn’t there, we knew she was with you. You can’t fool us, Animalcouriers!”

And indeed Poppy was with us!

On to Cesme tomorrow — the western-most end of Turkey.
