Fish fry, not fried fish

Fish fry, not fried fish

Animalcouriers is called on once again to do something unusual. These boxes may look incredibly boring but they contain a large number of fish fry. The species, Haplochromine Cichlid, is a very ancient one from which many other species have developed.

These particular fish will be used to research genetic evolution at Switzerland’s Bern University, in particular by studying the development of colour. At least I think that’s what Etienne, pictured here left, said!
